香取市について
香取市は千葉県北東部、利根川流域に位置し、日本の原風景を感じさせる田園・里山が残る自然豊かな市です。市内には、国が選定した重要伝統的建造物群保存地区があり、江戸時代から昭和初期に建てられた商家や土蔵が軒を連ね、日本で初めて実測による日本地図を作成した「伊能忠敬」の旧宅があります。※ポケふたサイトより引用

The Japan is equipped with more than 200 Pokémon-themed manholes called “Poké Lids”. Use the Pokémon GO snapshot feature to capture memories with your favorite Pokémon! This Poké Trip is a Poké Tour Video of Thai Rates in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture. We will aim for the poké lid for the purpose of visiting the former house of Ino Tadataka, the memorial hall, and the very rare Jar Jar Bridge.
Poké Lids, artistic covers for utility holes, have recently started to be spotted in some cities. Who knows if they are of Pokémonopolistic nature? It seems that not all utility holes are man-made; rumor has it that Diglett may be responsible for digging large enough holes to be mistaken for utility holes and some artists took it upon themselves to “mark” the covers to differentiate them from ordinary ones. Where will the next “mark” be?
About Katori City
Katori City is located in the Tone River basin in the northeastern part of Chiba Prefecture, and is a city rich in nature where the countryside and satoyama that make you feel the original scenery of the Japan remain. In the city, there is an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings selected by the government, lined with merchant houses and storehouses built from the Edo period to the early Showa period, and the former house of “Ino Tadataka”, who created the first Japan map based on actual measurements in the Japan.
