I went to Cote First Nation!
Cote FN held a Powow and featured First Nations from all over Turtle Island. Even as far as Fiji! We were blessed to have our southern Samoan warriors come up and share with us and their beautiful culture.
There was also a rodeo held for the first time and it was a blast. We had a lot of new members try out bull riding for the first time.
A fastball tournament was also held. Both men’s and women’s tournaments. Along with horse racing at the same time.
Last but not least there was also a mudbog which I did not attend. However, there was lots that came out to test out their Rez whips.
