Blackfoot Confederacy - Two Guns White Calf song 1906 “Professor Pow Wow” 4-man contest champs



Drums were asked to share the oldest straight pow wow song they knew. There was a total of 20 points. After singing the leads were asked for the name of the composer or what drum brought it out, and what year/decade. If the judges consensus was that it was correct, extra points were given for specificity and the older the song, the more bonus points were given. Bonus points did not exceed the standard 20.

Winners were Blackfoot Confederacy with a song composed by Two Guns White Calf, recorded in 1906 and re recorded by Mandaree singers
