Pokemon Emerald Solo Challenge! While playing Pokémon Emerald today we are going to see if we can beat the whole game with just Regirock! Can this single legendary pokemon carry us to the end or will Regirock crumble under the pressure? The rules of this solo run is pretty simple with no items, only use the single Pokemon and we can only use our weakest hm Pokemon in double battles! Our main goal is going to be to see which Pokémon can beat the game the fastest!

For the double battles, what I did in my gen 8 Pikachu only run for Raihan was have an Eevee using helping hand because I thought it still fit the theme of the run by having the solo pokemon be the only one attacking while increasing the damage enough to allow the pokemon to win.

To the question "What about double battles?" If you are doing a solo run pokemon run, then you should be only using that one pokemon. Of course having a dud to start the battle makes sense. Part of the challenge is to see what strategy you can come up with that allows you to beat the 2v1 battle. Great example here where you trialed and errored it until you had enough levels to survive with the strategy you came up with. As with other Emerald challenges i've seen… sometimes part of the strategy is just needing to level. Add in a dud and keep it true to the "Just pokemon name" run.
I think you need to use more held items like berries to help reduce the amount of status effect moves for your future runs.
