Tera Type: Ice

Modest Nature
– Ice Beam
– Aurora Veil
– Rest

Vitamins: 25 Calcium (or Genius Mochi), 25 Zinc (or Clever Mochi)

Stats at lvl 100 w/ perfect IVs:
HP : 231
Sp.Atk.: 251
Sp.Def. : 189
Speed : 186

Strategy: aurora veil. heal cheer when you need HP. rest is for emergencies. 3x ice beam, terastalize, ice beam to victory.

Notes: hustle’s effects are irrelevant because this is a special attacking build, but the purpose of having it is that both alternatives vital spirit and insomnia prevent use of rest. iron bundle’s stat boosted by quark drive on electric terrain depends on its random nature, and could be defense, speed or special attack (which makes it harder, as in this video). this build performs much better against ice-weak tera types, but I chose to use an ice-neutral tera type for this video to demonstrate the versatility.

Pros: tera type matching base type, good special attack stat, no weaknesses, resists ice beam and freeze dry after terastalizing, special attacking leaves delibird unaffected by the attack debuffs from chilling water, aurora veil reduces damage from all attacks for 4-5 turns by 50%, and can be used when it’s snowing, which iron bundle helps with. rest heals full HP bar, ice beam has 100 accuracy, 90 base power, and deals supereffective STAB (tera-boosted when terastalized) damage. metronome boost damage by a factor that increases with consecutive attack (1x,1.2x,1.4x,…)

Cons: atrocious HP stat, poor special defense stat, outsped by iron bundle, can’t buff its special attack or debuff special defense, and can’t buff its special defense or debuff special attack
