In this series, I route out all pokemon through any pokemon game to go as fast as they possibly can (give or take a minute or two for RNG) and I provide commentary on the route, and why I do things a certain way.

I didn't realize the Gen 6 box legendaries had equal stats.
But the fact a double team setup Pokémon outdid the one it beat is an even bigger shock
Yeah Double team is kind of broken. Almost any mon could win at a reasonable level (ie not 100) with Double team, probably only Shedinja could not.
damn actually surprised it did that well, gg bacon bird
An amazing video, you never fail to impress😊
Dark Pulse is effectively a 159 bp move.
For anyone who's wondering some math, here are the Double Team + Lax Incense and Dark Aura Calcs:
1 Double Team + Lax Incense makes a 100% Accurate move becomes 67.5% Accuracy. Almost a Gen 1 Double Team.
With 2, 54% Accuracy. Slightly worse than 2 Gen 1 Double Teams.
With 3, 45% Accuracy.
At the max, 29.7% Accuracy.
Snarl: 55 x 1.5 x 1.33 = 109 Power
Thief: 60 x 1.5 x 1.33 = 119 Power
Sucker Punch/Dark Pulse: 80 x 1.5 x 1.33 = 159 Power
Even if Hidden Power wasn't nerfed to 70 Power, Dark Aura Dark Pulse still does more than it on something that's neutral to Dark, but weak to Hidden Power. 159 > 140.
Also, Hidden Power Ground is mainly for Wikstrom. Not for the Electrics. Klefki and the mandatory Carbink trainer before Victory Road are the only Pokemon that resist both Dark and Flying. None of the Electric types barring Dedenne resist Dark.
