Emolga had its thunder shock buffed this season. It’s an amazing buff, giving this pokemon fast move pressure and good damage output. Electric types are great but quite risky in the mud slap meta. With Emolga, it can at least resist ground damage. Gastrodon takes down rocks Emolga doesn’t want to see, while Emolga has acrobatics for grasses. Dewgong will take on grasses, and be our pivot when Gastrodon isn’t in a flexible matchup.
