Pokémon Silver is my favourite game of all time – and it recently celebrated its 25th anniversary! Having spent hours and hours (and hours and hours) playing it as a child, I am ecstatic to revisit it as a (sort of) grown-up and play it through again in the most special way possible: with a hand-picked team of 6 Shiny Pokémon! Every single Pokémon has an alternately-coloured version that sparkles on encounter, known as a Shiny – BUT they have a minuscule 1/8,192 chance of appearing. Totodile’s first up to find: just how many resets will it take until it shines…? We’re around 3k in: brace yourself for an epic quest – but mainly kick back & enjoy some cosy Shiny hunting, and speculation about news we’ll hear on Pokémon Day tomorrow… Let’s go on a very special adventure!
