Pokémon Silver is my favourite game of ALL TIME – and it recently celebrated its 25th anniversary! Having spent hours and hours (and hours and hours) playing it as a child, I am ecstatic to revisit it as a (sort of) grown-up and play through my CHILDHOOD COPY again in the most special way possible: with a hand-picked team of SIX SHINY POKÉMON! Every single Pokémon has an alternately-coloured version that sparkles on encounter, known as a Shiny – BUT they have a minuscule 1/8,192 chance of appearing. We’ve got Totodile, next up one of my all-time faves LEDYBA: a Pokémon I want to champion since it’s pretty weak! Just HOW MANY encounters will it take until it shines…?
