Since Destined Rivals came out, I’ve been playing primarily this deck and Ethan’s Typhlosion. I personally like this deck better. It feels smoother and the Magcargo can actually 1 shot things lol. The main thing of note is the Ho-Oh ex only attaches energies to benched Pokemon and don’t forget that Magcargo has free retreat when it has no energies. I would recommend playing this deck! Typically you want your board to look like 2 Ho-oh ex, 2 Magcargo, and then 2 more for whatever. Maybe 1 Pinsir and 1 Supporter or maybe 2 Supporter Pokemon depending on what you need and how you start the game.
