This surprise Porygon2 is less of a raid boss and more of a Switch 2 advertisement. This video is more just showing off a string of bad luck with 10% freezes and misses (probably freezing so much because I still intend on playing on the Switch 1) that still managed to win against all odds.
The general gameplan for Azumarill is to wait/faint (and preserve cheers) until the 70% time buff reset occurs, then you can set up Amnesias permanently (and go first in Trick Room naturally). Mud-Slap helps all around and builds tera charge and the rest is self-explanatory. In this attempt I did go for setting Belly Drum and an offense cheer, though I only fainted on turn 3 because Porygon2 has an annoying habit of using Ice Beam even when it is less effective than Thunderbolt or Tera Normal Tri Attack, but it sure worked out for it here getting 3 freezes on me.
Thankfully Gardevoir had my back with Life Dews while I heal cheered once, waited to manual thaw once, and used my last cheer to heal later as I clipped a bit of in the beginning. Garganacl’s Rock Tomb was lowering its speed as well. In the end I could only actually start my onslaught with very little time left, and even still it was too close for comfort.
If you are any luckier or use a non-Azumarill mon, this fight should not go as poorly. Porygon2 is definitely not one of the difficult 7-star bosses in terms of raw damage output or tankiness or boosts or anything, just prone to potential RNG screwage. I even missed 2 Play Roughs and got a Psychic double attack that procced the SpD drop, and the final hit was after the timer seemingly ran out. This raid attempt was just plain cursed all around, and you can probably tell I’m not planning to upgrade to the Switch 2 in the near future just yet.
My alternative writeup/impression for this raid can also be found on the Smogon Forums thread at https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/7-star-tera-normal-porygon2-raid-event-june-5-15.3765971/post-10582542
