Hi! And welcome to a stream where we’ll be FULL ODDS shiny hunting for an Aerodactyl! I am still going to be looking for an Unown next, but Gardenia proved too much of a threat with a 4x weak Kabuto & an Unown that both have obedience issues, so I’m hedging my bets that an Aerodactyl with my OT will be enough to fell the grass type specialist. I have 12 fossils to exchange each time I soft reset, all thanks to my amazing audience, so let’s hope this one is quick!
If there’s one thing you all know about me, it’s that I love dinosaurs & prehistoric creatures, and so, I decided that I wanted to try and beat Shining Pearl using only Prehistoric shiny Pokemon. This will be my first badge quest too but with a fun twist, as we’ll spin a randomised wheel before each badge to see which Prehistoric Pokemon I need to hunt for next. (except for our starter)
There are a tonne of random Pokemon that I would consider to be Prehistoric in these games, all the way from species like Meganium, which are clearly reminiscent of a Sauropod, all the way to Relicanth, which is canonically a prehistoric creature in the Pokemon world. I say that to demonstrate that this challenge won’t just include the fossil Pokemon, so enjoy!
