📃 Pandora’s moon Elpis, after being teleported away by Lilith using her Siren powers, destroyed the protective barrier of a planet named Kairos. Borderlands 4 takes place on Kairos, six years after the teleportation of Elpis into the planet’s orbit. Elpis’ arrival destroyed the shield hiding Kairos from the rest of the universe and unleashed chaos and civil uprisings that threaten the rule of The Timekeeper, the planetary dictator. The Timekeeper is opposed by both the Crimson Resistance and The Rippers. This vast, beautiful world is rife with warring factions, deadly fauna, and subjugated inhabitants.
