Welcome back to the channel. Today we’re unveiling a Future Paradox Pokémon that drags despair itself into battle. A synthetic echo of Lotad fused with the gloom of Eeyore. This is Iron Gloom.

Iron Gloom is a Water and Cosmic type. Its body is a cold, metallic husk resembling Lotad, but the lilypad on its back has been replaced with a cracked void that drips liquid starlight. Its eyes glow faintly like dying embers, and its voice is a distorted groan that echoes like a broken signal across the cosmos.

The Scarlet Book describes Iron Gloom as a machine designed to anchor despair. Its void-lilypad absorbs hope and reflects only inevitability. Trainers who linger near it report exhaustion, as if the Pokémon itself feeds on their will to move forward.

But Iron Gloom has an alternate form. When exposed to lunar energy, it becomes Iron Eclipse. In this state, the void blossoms into a fractured night sky, with broken constellations swirling across its surface. Its typing shifts to Water and Dark Cosmic, and its ability, Endless Drizzle, summons a rain of black starlight that corrodes both body and spirit.

Its signature move, Cosmic Lament, is a Water and Psychic hybrid attack that drains stamina while lowering Special Attack. The animation is described as a wave of liquid sorrow crashing down, followed by a hollow echo that lingers long after the battle ends.

Iron Gloom isn’t just a Pokémon. It’s a paradoxical reminder that even in the future, despair evolves.

So tell me—would you dare to keep Iron Gloom on your team, knowing it might drain more than just your opponent’s strength? Or would you leave it in the depths where it belongs?

This has been RotRageHexboundVerdict, and the myth continues.
