  13. I wonder if Comfey or any metal decks with Steel Apron are ever going to see any play in the current meta.
    mega-lopuny causes use confusion.
    mega-venusaur causes sleep and poisoning
    helioptile has a chance of paralizing you.

    so having a counter in to the status conditions can theoretically work.

    I tried using skarmory ex + indeedee, while this deck did give me some victories here and here it is NOT good enough for the meta.
    on paper it looks like it can win against mega venusaur but it does not deal enough damage to get the job done.
    it also rarely wins against fire decks.
    but at least it often wins against mega lopuny decks.

    maybe my deck needs work or maybe it needs to be abandoned. it is almost good.

    also I tried comfey on an altaria ex deck and it did not work. maybe it is because of my deck building skills, hard to say for sure.
