Probably the best Bug/Flying type competitively. For such an awful typing, Yanmega made it work

Use endure and weakness policy plus speed boost to get fast and dangerous. The rest is up to you, but it's usually giga drain, air slash and bug buzz

Ay! It's actually better than expected.
Just a little buff to Tinted Lens from doubling not very effective moves to completely negating type resistances means Specs Yanmega is a godlike threat now.
Currently using one on my Legends Arceus team, it is one dangerous beast

In my area we had weekly tournaments and I remember fondly being the first to run yanmega as my opener. Ability was speed boost. Move set was air slash bug buzz dark slash and protect. I fondly remember a dude laughing at me in the start of the match and being quiet minutes later. Easily one of my all time favorite pokemon.
i wonder if having a special attack boosting move would help it? Like quiver dance yanmega? I feel like it could make it alot better
WHY DIDNT THEY GIVE THIS POKEMON A MEGA
I’ve actually been using something really silly in gen 4 Ubers/Ag with the yanma. With a 95 base speed tier and compoundeyes boosted hypnosis, it can work like a discount darkrai that can whirlwind and pivot with u-turn. Really silly, still awful, but pretty fun!

Yanmega should get a Bug-Dragon regional form
To me Mamoswine , Yanmega , Gliscor , Ambipom , Honchkrow , Mismagius , Weavile and Togekiss are all Johto Pokemon , their evolutions were just delayed.
