Hello everyone! Today we continue our Unova Tournament with matchup 15 of round 2! This is our first time making videos for these tournaments as the others, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, were all done solely on Twitter. RULES:
-Pokemon are seeded 1 through 69 based on their base stat total (BST) and matched up best against worst. Ex; 1 vs 69, 2 vs 68, 3 vs 67, etc.
-New round will start once all previous series are completed and new matchups will be formed based on remaining seeds. This will happen until a champion is crowned!
-If there are an uneven amount of pokemon remaining, a certain pokemon may win a bye (skip a round) to the next round. The bye is determined using a lottery system similar to how hockey draft picks work. I will decide how many pokemon enter the lottery and each is given a chance to win the bye. The highest seed pokemon has the best chance and then it gets lower and lower until the lowest seed pokemon which will have the worst chance. View the spreadsheet for details on this.
-I decide all movesets and abilities and there are NO items or EVs allowed. The pokemon are all at lvl 100 and fully evolved for their current region.
-Matchups are a best of 7 which means the first pokemon to 4 wins will take the win!
-Both sides of the battle are controlled by me and I just try my best to pick the best move to give each side their best chance to win. This can be difficult to do unbiased at times, but I try my best. Please let me know in the comments your thoughts!
