5. Hmm, that's interesting! I've never even considered giving slowbro and shellder a thought at all, and at least not some kind of relation between them^^

6. One thing I have to say.. What if the shellder evolved with the slowbro…

7. Good theory, co-adaptation makes sense.  Kind of like Durant and Heatmor, but not in a Pokemon evolution way and not Darwinian.

8. So, since Slowbro (and I guess Slowking, but I'm not so sure) can devolve back into Slowpoke, what happens to the Shellder now that it's in this new form? Do they just fade from existence, turn back into regular Shellder, or automatically evolve into Cloyster? Or maybe something else?

   Excuse me if this has been explained somewhere in the anime or, well, anywhere; while I have heard that Slowbro can devolve, I've not heard what will happen to the Shellder.

10. My guess, it's the nutrients received from the tail that allows shellder to change. If detached it reverts back.

11. what happens if you throw a PokeBall at the slowbro's tail will you get shellder or everything

12. maybe if shellder butes slowpokes tail it has another evolution line

13. maybe the shellder evolves when it bites the tail and then the pokemon join together and become like conjoined twins

14. or maybe the slowpoke doesn't evolve
    the sheLLDER EVOLVES, But with the tail in the way shellder can't move the energy through the slowpoke tail so it transforms completely differently in 1 place causing the shell to turn into that weird thing

18. Well what I think makes sense if the games were kinda like the anime so if you have a slowpoke and shelder you get a slowbro or slowking and its random

Shellder looks different on Slowbro because in the beta gold & silver,there is a pokemon called Turbann,when the creator of pokemon made the gold and silver were familiar with,he quickly made better designs for the pokemon he was going to put in the new g.&.s game and scrapped Turbann so the fans could make theories.

27. Awesome theory! I think it's more of a FUSION than an evolution though, just like Gotenks (the fusion of Goten & Trunks from Dragon Ball Z/Super)!
