  2. I agree if I get it that would be why they got better black peoples then 2K wish they could do better. Some games doing better

  3. but equake has a secondary effect. it can do double damage if the opponent uses dig? or does it have to be status

  9. Nidoking also just has a huge amount of coverage moves, like it's kind of ludicrous to be honest.

  11. I would just give the TMs to King because he can. Lots of Gen 1 Pokemon can learn moves that would not make sense today.

  14. We had a discussion about this in my discord server… while Physical Nidoking isn't by any means a bad attacker, it even has options such as Sucker Punch on the physical side, it's just that extra 3-6% damage it does specially that puts it over the top…

  15. I've always wondered how much a moves power dictates it's damage when used by either the Sp.Atk or Atk. How much damage is this Nidoking's Flamethrower going to do compared to another move?

  19. Yeah, but it's the fact that special sets are ubiquitous that make the physical sets so good. Nobody expects the physical nidoking. Poison jab, fire punch, ice punch and sucker punch

  20. I still run Physical Nidoking… Not that I don’t like Special Attacker Nido, but incase Chansey is on the opponent’s team

  21. Nidoking has and always will be my favorite pokemon.
    Had one in pokemon Yellow, His name was Kaine.
    Every game I can get a Nidoking by one means or another, I have a Kaine in my party.

  22. You are rigths but you probably forgot to Say that nidoking sometimes runa mixed sets to beat special walls example superpower for blissey and many others

  26. This fact is exactly why physical nidoking slaps. Everyone assumes you're running the little timmy bolt/beam set. And you can use this to punish their special walls, set up rocks, steal ko's with sucker punch, sheer force rockslide… etc.

    My favorite Nidoking is adamant sheer force, max speed/attack and focus sash. With stealth rock, poison jab, earthquake, sucker punch. Sure you only get 1 sheer force move, but the mind games are worth.

  28. couldn't one argue that earth quake is not necessarily stronger than earth power, because of their use cases? As in hitting steel/rock types (less so for electric and I am not sure about poison) on the special side tends to be better than on the physical side. obviously it depends on the mon, but generally rock and steel types tend to have big physical def stats.
