Hope it doesn’t get Megahorn this time…
Here’s a tip: The reason Megahorn is the most concerned move to use against Gengar is because you know how Superpower and Brick Break are its only other two Charged attacks that Falinks gets in this game? Apparently since Gengar is a Ghost/Poison type Pokemon, both Superpower and Brick Break are actually triple resistant against this user, and Megahorn is double resistant unlike those Fighting moves.
On the offensive side, Charizard fairs well with its brutally powerful Max Airstream in conjunction with Air Slash and Max Move level 3. I know Metagross has the more powerful effect in Max Mindstorm as well as Zen Headbutt and Psychic combined, right? Well, Metagross is NEUTRAL to all of Falinks’ charged attacks unlike Charizard in which the latter resists all of Falinks’ charged moves.
On top of that, since the weather is windy, Gengar can even unleash its power Psychic… yeah freakin’ PSYCHIC of all things even though it’s an Elite Charged TM exclusive, but still…
And to make Gengar even more of a threat, it could even charge the max meter even faster with yet another Elite TM exclusive move, this time a “Fast” one in “Lick”, yeah LICK… even though it’s neutral against opposing Falinks.
I mean (Charizard-wise), Moltres’s Wing Attack is still a better fast move to unleash its ferocious Max Move, but still… nothing beats Charizard’s Air Slash’s almighty chip damage.
