I’ve been waiting for this day so long! After childhood it took me so many years to come back to Pokémon TCG. So I’ve never experienced Mega Evolutions. While waiting I often checked what kind of mega decks were played in Japan. It made me even more excited.
I especially waited for Venusaur. It combined with new Meganium and Forest of Vitality seemed like an ultimate tank build. But now that I’ve played it, I’m not that impressed. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good and fun! But I feel like it bricks way too hard way too often. Due to user error no doubt, but still.
I guess I fell to the victim of my own expectations!
