1. Regional Rosalia line with all three Pokémon leaning into a romantic masked hero but in a different context and emotional meaning? That's gotta posted on r/fakemon already, right?

2. I feel like it would be fun to draw a fakemon line for roserade that takes the elegance towards full on regality in the ice queen direction. Instead of resulting in a dashing but mysterious hero, a mysterious loner queen and villain

6. It's so cool and it's shiny is fantastic. But it's annoying to evolve cause you need friendship and then a stone. It's not that bad but it's just annoying

13. I'm kinda disappointed we didn't get a Galarian Roselia/Roserade as a homage to the war of the roses.

14. when i first saw roserade i thought it was grass/fighting and thought the roses resembled boxing gloves

15. I really like how Roserade is pretty in a very androgynous way. It can look like a pretty lady or a dashing gentleman, pretty unique compared to other pretty pokemon that are more explicitly feminine

16. you mentioned volbeat being a band name so! roselia is, in fact, also the name of a band. a jrock band to be specific, tied to the bandori franchise

17. I take the opposite stance, the flairy human clothing bib on ev 1 is very Victorian esque, ev 2 has more clothes and ev 3 has the fanciest of all

18. My first shiny I ever caught was a Budew. I wasn't even looking for one, Pearl had just released and as a kid I only barely understood what a shiny was, but I immediately caught him and as a Roserade he became my team's signature Grass type. I ended up trading him onto White, Black 2, X and finally to Alpha Sapphire. Despite it being my favourite game in the franchise (i just really like gen 3) I don't have the heart to ever restart because my favourite little guy lives there

23. I always saw Rosalias leaf as standing in for a medieval surcoat or fencing cape, which build a pretty solid through line for me. Baby pokemon, squire type, masked hero

24. The only thing i dislike about roserade is how lazy they got with the desgin of the flower hands like seriously in 3d model roserade hand look more like plastic flowers whereas roselia looks so elegant

26. I think that last complaint of "the final idea doesn't connect well to the rest of the line" is the huge problem I have with Inteleon's design. Inteleon's whole line just feels really uninspired and random, with it getting a new gimmick every evolution, and I didn't really think it did anything too good with the "sniper / secret agent" vibes until I saw what NCHProductions did with it.

27. It's actually my personal favorites Pokemon lines. I have a very strong attachment to them. I started with Pokemon Diamound and picked Chimchar as a starter, but I was a fool and traded him to my cousin for a Zubat, wich wasn't really good for the first gym. Luckily I caught a Budew and grinded him so hard it evolved at level 20 and essentially became my actual starter.

28. As someone who grows rosebushes IRL, I have a big fondness for this line of pokemon. Roserade is definitely in my top 5

29. Sorry, but ever since seeing Roselia in Colluseum I can‘t take it seriously anymore. One trainer uses it alongside a wailord and my got, the size difference is astonishing. I never realized how small roselia is until seeing it in that fight.

30. Roserade is one of the pokemon that i use in almost all playthroughs, along with gyarados.

    I had seen the other two members before, though i hadn't played the game where they debuted! I just never connected them. Everytime i do remember Roselia (not often at all) literally my first thought is "hm, what a waste of a pokemon. So small and boring. Could really use an evolution." I even started this video thinking that exactly!

39. You need to acknowledge the animations, though. They really make these designs. Budew’s are super adorable, Roselia’s convey so much sass, and Roserade’s really for the dashing and glamorous hero persona.

41. Surely the leaf on Roselia is more so meant to reference a musketeer’s tabard/tunic? It looks like a dress from the front but it’s totally exposed in the back and has those two extra little leaves over the shoulders.

43. Thats because these were originally pixel sprites with different details and the 3D adaptations lose the style somewhat
