4. Imagine just chasing a herbivore having the time of your life and they suddenly try to use Giga Beam or something. I would run away too. Supresides humans are even alive

5. Pretty much like a lone Hyena.
   Hyenas are VERY brutal predators but if one is caught by itself without the pack and the prey fights back it tends to run.
   That's actually true of alot of predators.
   Prey fighting back means that it's less worth the effort. That's also why starving predators are often more dangerous.
