I think it'd be worth it to at least get a good Spped nature on a Smeargle and train it in Speed, so that you can guarantee a Spore or Mean Look landing before the other pokemon can react. And man that Arbok is so sick! Makes me wanna do the same hunt sometime. What a beast of a pokemon.
