If you really want to really use lanturn to it’s full potential you can teach him shock wave which is +2 priority in this game and it’s actually really strong on him also you can pair him up with kilowattrel who I mentioned last time both with electro shot which you just used with lanturn and also stab Hurricane and weather ball water

Also note that Absorb's description is misleading. It works like Clear Smog, not Spectral Thief.
– Congrats. You got the Shucklenite. Considering you probably have found the Mega Stone in the Slateport Museum when you did the Aqua fights in it, you got the ONLY 2 Mega Stones you can find on the ground.
– Beedrill is fast because he got a stat increase in Speed. Base Beedrill is now 135 base Speed. Meanwhile Mega Beedrill is now 175 base Speed.
– Giving HP EVs is often good to make a mon bulkier but in the cases of mons with high HP and and low Defenses, it's more effective to boost one of the Defenses instead.
So i would recommand moving Lanturn's EVs into whatever defenses you would prefer (and maybe run a Assault or Tactical Vest to make it even bulkier).
