No. That won't tell you anything. unplug them one by one and plug them back in b4 you check the next one . Then once you find the one that makes no difference to how the engine is running switch it with one of the other cylinders. if the problem moves over to the cylinder you switched it to then it's your ignition coil. If it's the same cylinder as before then it's a spark plug or the connector it self ( you can check that with a meter). I'm saying this because you are going to waist yours or someone else's money on a coil that's 10x more expensive then a plug because you did a bad diagnostic. No hate just some constructive criticism.✌️
There’s a tool for that! SMH
A scan tool will identify which cylinder has the defective coil pack.
Wrong. That only tells you that there is no spark, it could be wiring or even engine control module. Swap coils with working cylinder
What if you car won’t start then how do we check it?
I swap the good Ang bad but still the same
So if all mine are popping then its a bad spark plug?
Just did what you said the second one from the left sound different to the others so I went down and bought one chucked it in with the new one fixed it straight away then put the old one back to doublecheck ran rough so you were right all fixed can’t thank you enough
If it doesn’t pop like this, replace it, I thought replace it if it does pop like this
Thank you
make sure you dont get zapped…
Do not do this. It can damage your pcm and you could get zapped
Bro no. Easiest way for a four cylinder is unplug them as the engine run. If you disconnect it the engine will shake. That's a good one. Keep disconnecting. If you disconnect one and the engine doesn't make a difference you've found your problem. I found my brother's car bad coil in two seconds
I just unplug the wire connectors 😅
