While Nidoking and Nidoqueen are the most classic example of a gendered pair in Pokémon, there are other, less obvious examples from later generations like Tauros and Miltank, Volbeat and Illumise, and Latias and Latios. But there’s actually one pair that never quite made it to the live game.

I can see Professor Sycamore writing this; however, it doesn't include his classic laugh that is in all of his entries.
Fun fact: in France they just say paint me like one of your girls
Chimecho is called Éoko in French
The pair were cancelled because of the allegations that Chimecho was "barely Gen 3" at the time of release. It's sad, because pairings with completely different types are far and few between these days.
Even then, that should never be used to excuse that big of a generation gap.
HE CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
If we’re talking about individual Pokémon and not just lines, I think that Nidoran (male) and Nidoran (female) is a famouser gender-counterpart pairing.
they're not the same Pokémon
they are technically treated as two distinct species in the Pokémon Pokédex (No. 034 and No. 031)
he CANT keep getting AWAY WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahh i knew they always looked similar
Unfezant?
He has such a way with words ~
I NEED to start checking who made the video when I start watching it
false you don,t know French i think belle means beauty Bell is cloche in French i guess
i mean neither of them can breed so it's not perfect
I'm still mad we didn't get paldean miltank
Volbeat lowk goated tho
The Miltank pairing got invalidated in Scarlet & Violet of all places, as Tauros is featured alone in all variations
Miltank and tauros aren't a gendered pair you are lieing right?
Literally Frenchie and Kimiko from the boys lol
Arent Latios and latias both girls?
